Job Description

  • Fantastic career and lifestyle opportunity in Bendigo
  • $125,000 - $134,000 total salary package
  • Contribute to lasting change for the environment
Are you an entrepreneurial leader who thrives on identifying and pursuing projects, investment sources and partnerships? Are you passionate about protecting the environment? Do you love the idea of balancing lifestyle and career in a regional city that has just been named the first Australian City of Gastronomy by UNESCO? If you answered yes, read on as this may be your next exciting and challenging career move with the North Central Catchment Management Authority (North Central CMA).
The North Central CMA is the leading natural resource management (NRM) agency in north central Victoria, responsible for coordinating and monitoring NRM programs that deliver lasting change for the community. Find out more here:
As the Manager Business Development (BD), you don’t need to come from an NRM background but you need to be passionate about protecting the environment and demonstrate a formidable level of political nous. You are a contemporary and engaging leader who is known for your outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly form strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including potential and current investors. You have a successful background in business development where you have used a partnership-orientated approach, not a hard sales approach.
You will report to the North Central CMA Chief Executive officer and work closely with the wider executive and established partners to make a real difference to the north central Victorian region. You will identify, pursue and advocate for regional natural resource management projects that align to the North Central Regional Catchment Strategy and that maximise natural resource management investment in the North Central region.
To apply for this unique opportunity and be a part an organisation that provides a highly valued service to north central Victoria, please email your resume to quoting reference number JO-1910-98325 in the subject of the email.
