Procurement Officer

This government organisation manages almost 40 correctional facilities in NSW, including 60 offices around NSW and correctional services officers on ground. They're well known for their workforce motivated by providing better services for our community, and provide a diverse and inviting work environment. Working closely with and for the NSW population, being part of this team will present exciting opportunities for both personal and professional development.

The Role

The primary purpose of your role is coordinate contract and supplier perfomance, reporting on and and ensuring contractual compliance. Additional responsibilities include:

• Monitor the performance of contracted supplier goods and services with the help of KPIs
• Support the business by liaising wth suppliers  and report on perfomance levels
• Assist the business in established purchase order methodologies and processes
• Provide input to category management plans and other strategic activities
• Balance limited resources and meet competing management needs

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role previous experience of contract management in a procurement environment is for NSW government is essential.
