Job Description

We’re assisting a client searching for a Data Analyst for a permamnt role to implement Data Quality and Master  Data  Management solutions, and on completion of the project, transition the solutions to Business as Usual support.

You will be responsible for:
  • Support  of the  Data Quality,  Master  Data  Management  and  Data  Warehousing  and  Reporting activities and systems through development,  maintenance and testing activities.
  • Helping with the definition of database management standards and guidelines to assist the integration of applications in the business.
  • Ensure that major information repositories are well managed to  meet the accuracy, availability, performance, and efficiency  requirements of the business.
  • Providing support and assistance in data migration and cleansing activities, along with support and maintenance of the Business Glossary, Data Entities and Data Dictionary.
  • Assisting in documenting of database management standards and guidelines, along with meta-data definitions and the value it provides in data management and reporting frameworks.
  • Preparation of functional and technical specifications  for  new  projects  and changes  in  BAU to existing systems and the reporting framework.
  • Support  project  delivery  of  data  and  information  assets,  through  analyse  of  business  needs, ensuring with documentation  and maintenance of information repositories.
  • Create  and  maintain  business  rules for  data  transformation,  validation,  merging  and cleansing activities.
  • Ongoing support to Level 3 of the Data Quality, Master Data Management, Data Warehousing and Reporting solutions.
You will possess:
  • Extensive experience with SQL programming experience.
  • Experience with Master Data Management tools
  • Must have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Office365 solutions.
  • Strong level of competency in documentation.
  • Strong team orientation as a team member, and taking leadership in critical incidents or activities.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
