Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for shaping the future direction of one of the highest potential growth areas for the organisation, the Western region of Victoria stretching from Geelong along the Great Ocean Road to SA Border and up to Horsham and Ballarat. With this growth presents a significant commercial opportunity for the Regional General Manager to take advantage of for both the organisation but more so the regional communities in which their iconic assets are based. Leading this commercial transformation, you will be bring along the highly committed workforce of more than 300 staff across your region, and be involved in high profile developments and projects. With a diverse range of stakeholders across the vast region, you will proactively engaging with people and encourage your staff to do the same.

To succeed in this role, you will bring a diverse range of leadership experience across sectors, of particular interest would be fields of visitor experience such as hospitality, tourism, resort management, or a complex customer service led organisation. You are a successful and collaborative leader who possesses experience developing relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. You have a proven background in identifying commercial opportunities and have then been highly regarded for your ability to then lead these through to implementation. Additionally, your experience developing strong and collaborative working relationships; proven ability to enhance the capability of your team and confidence to hit the ground running will aid in your success in this role.
