Job Description

The Program Scheduler will work with the program's team and be responsible for developing, tracking and reporting of project/program schedules. Working collaboratively with Program Leads, Project Managers, team members and associated stakeholders of all levels, providing professional planning, scheduling and reporting services to ensure program objectives and deliverables are met within set timeframes. You will be accountable for developing and managing the Program's Schedule, monitoring delivery to scope, budget and agreed timeframes.

  • Event management oversight: Create and maintain an integrated Master Schedule, that meet the expectations of all stakeholder
  • Business assurance: Ensure all work undertaken is discoverable by internal and external parties. Collaborate with the Team to identify / mitigate delivery
  • Practice development: Investigate, develop and continually assist in enhancing the event (and schedule) management approach of our team, including standards and tools. Document the process of updating the event schedule in a schedule management plan Work with other professionals to socialise your insights and collaborate to deliver a high-quality solution.
  • Stakeholder management: Ensuring transparency in reporting and all communications
  • Customer outcomes: Be part of a cross-functional team delivering the best outcomes to our internal and external customers.
  • Practice maturity: Champion an integrated approach to event management governance and delivery
  • Transparency and Certainty: Ability to produce timely and accurate project schedules and associated management information reports that promote management-by-science and facilitate executive decision making
  • Risk and compliance
You will have:
  • Previous practical experience managing or delivering projects. Knowledge of project tools, methodology and governance;
  • Experience with Agile / LEAN principles and practices will be an advantage;
  • Ability to carry out duties autonomously, with little direct supervision.
  • Practical understanding of project delivery lifecycles, methodologies and governance practices
  • Proven success and subject matter expertise using MS Project to manage an integrated Master Schedule and ability to produce inciteful management reports
  • Extremely proficient in MS Project and MS Office
