An experienced paralegal is required to take responsibility for a small team of paralegals, managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met.

About the Role
Based in the Brisbane Head office, reporting in to the General Counsel of Corporate, as the Team Leader you will be exceptionally organised, a critical thinker and demonstrate strong initiative. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Management and organisation of workflow amongst 6-8 paralegals, ensuring work is prioritised and deadlines are met
  • Ongoing training and recruitment of paralegals, supporting the team growth and development
  • Management of the Corporate Registry and document execution process ensuring compliance, and organisational policies and procedures are met
  • Experience with leasing contracts and lease administration is highly desirable
  • Attend to urgent request for execution of documents
  • Interact with wide range of stakeholders internally and externally  (eg solicitors and leasing agents)
  • Participate in improvements, implementation and design of online document execution platforms
  • Ensure tracking databases are maintained and kept up to date
About You
  • You will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a paralegal, and ideally you want to be a career paralegal
  • Qualified witness – JP (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience within the property and real estate industry would be highly regarded
  • Exceptional communication- both verbal and written
  • Organised with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confident communicator
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel
