Coliban Water is based in Bendigo and is one of the largest Victorian regional urban water corporations. The organisation provides water and wastewater services to rural and urban customers across an area of 16,500 square kilometres and actively contributes to the social fabric and wellbeing of the community, the health of the environment and the economic prosperity of the region in which it operates. Reporting to a newly appointed Managing Director, the Executive General Manager Finance and Pricing (CFO) will be the key financial strategist and trusted advisor for the leadership team and Board. Leading a highly engaged team, your focus will be to ensure a long term commercial and sustainable approach exists within the business to deliver economic regulation, manage pricing and tariff structures, provide statutory accounting advice, investment and debt management, all within a regulated environment. Using commercial disciplines within a Victorian government agency, you will help drive value, through a range of strategic initiatives with customers, other agencies and organisations that deliver improved productivity and better outcomes for all parties.

With CPA/CA qualifications and experience in a related sector, you will have the ability to generate creative solutions for varied financial issues and effectively communicate advice. You will be an engaging and proactive leader, with extensive experience in strategic financial and business management. In addition, you will have experience and responsibility for developing substantial organisation budgets in complex service delivery organisations. Furthermore, you will have experience providing strategic financial advice to a CEO and / or Board, and a track record of enhancing service delivery and profitability.
