To support the ongoing evolution and change, they seek to appoint a highly capable, experienced and passionate Clinical Practice Advisor to encourage excellence in care by developing and delivering tools to support clinical practice training and innovative models of care.

About the Role
Based in a Milton, up to 60% of your role will involve visiting over 20 sites across Queensland where you will make a direct impact towards supporting a skilled, capable and fit-for-purpose clinical, care and service workforce.   You will provide guidance through your extensive nursing knowledge, training experience and evidence based research.   

Your role will be a blend of both strategic and clinical leadership accountabilities which will include but not be limited to:
  • Contribute subject-matter and clinical nursing leadership expertise for strategic planning and best practice activities and documents
  • Support the Quality and Innovation leader to research and author best practice and service delivery resources
  • Work closely with the Operations Team to provide clinical advice based on structured learning and training across all levels of staff
  • Develop and delivery care and service delivery training and competency assessment for front-line employees as required
  • Write and review care service related and clinical policies and procedures
  • Visit sites to provide on-site training, competency assessment, clinical review and mentoring

About you
The ideal applicant will have the following skills and experience
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Professional Registration Authority (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • A minimum of five years post-graduate experience with clinical management/leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a clinical educational role (preferred)
  • Ability to review, update & implement processes
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communicator with a friendly and caring disposition
