The role will play a key role in developing and implementing proactive, high impact and multi-channel marketing and advertising strategies and campaigns that promote Ballarat as a place to visit, stay, live and invest.
The position will report to the Manager Communications and Marketing and will form part of the Communications and Marketing Team, and Innovation and Organisational Improvement division.
The Coordinator City Marketing will focus on visitation, events, major projects, services and initiatives for the City of Ballarat and Council; and will undertake trend and data analysis to inform marketing campaigns, brand development and advertising.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, the City of Ballarat are seeking a dynamic, innovative, results driven and energetic marketer with demonstrated experience and success in developing and implementing marketing, advertising and communications campaigns which are tactical and focused on the data analysis, informed decision making and results driven marketing. You will demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement capabilities with the confidence to navigate complex relationships within and external to your organisation. Tertiary qualifications in Marketing /Public Relations / Communications are expected coupled with experience working within a government department, media or similar organisation that has political sensitivity.
