About the Company
Davidson are a preferred supplier for the government sector and have strong partnerships within local, state and federal government.  We have a number of upcoming opportunities within Queensland Government across key departments. We are looking for reliable and professional market transaction officers who are available immediately.

About the Role
This contract is available for an enthusiastic and experienced Contracts Manager. This role is based on the Brisbane City fringe, conveniently close to public transport. Standard business hours are – Monday to Friday. The role is best suited to someone who is passionate about procurement and contracts. You will need to possess the ability to communicate with all stakeholders and have strong time management skills.

  • High volume manual records management into multiple internal DMS
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder
  • Manage meetings and coordination with all suppliers
  • Undertake SOA reviews
  • Assist with the wider team and their overflow of duties
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging working environment
  • Run reports and manage details of procurement process
  • Actively initiate and participate in the design, implementation and management of quality management systems and controls for internal procedures, systems and documentation to enhance and coordinate the procurement activities
  • Manage, including the establishment of complex purchasing contracts and service agreements, such as Standing Offer Arrangements, with commercial suppliers
  • Utilise computer systems and software packages, including Microsoft Office, SAP and Queensland Government tender database and maintain accurate and effective record management systems to a high level of integrity
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with queries and questions
  • Process internal and external mail within tight deadlines
About You
  • Sound knowledge of excel is a MUST
  • Previous experience in government is desirable
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong and effective communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of procurement and vendor management
  • Coordination with suppliers
