About the Role
Your role is to provide leadership and manage a department in its service or program delivery. You will be required to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and proactive management of organisational risks.
To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience in the development of high performance teams and possession of effective leadership competencies. Other key skills can include:
- Prior experience managing IT application and infrastructure teams
- Proven competencies in responsible financial management and corporate governance. Demonstrated ability to work as a senior member of a collegial management team
- Excellent stakeholder and change management and internal consulting skills
- Any prior experience working for local city councils or similar organisations could give you an edge
