Due to internal movement, the opportunity has arisen for a part-time qualified accountant to join the team to undertake the accounting responsibilities of the group, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial information.
About the Role
Reporting to the Risk and Finance Manager your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in completing half and full year financial statements
- Manage compliance and ensure internal controls are adhered to
- Update daily FX rates and review and balance daily bank deposits
- Manage FX settlement expense accruals
- Manage intercompany loan accounts
- Liaison with external auditors in preparation of annual review
To be considered for this role we are looking for an individual who not only has the technical skills to perform the role of Financial Accountant, but in joining a small team, has a proactive work ethic and enjoys coming to work with like-minded individuals who hold a fun and positive outlook. Ideally you will hold a Bachelor of Commerce/Business specialising in Accountancy along with your professional CA/CPA qualifications. You will have experience performing an all-round Financial Accountant role and it is essential you have experience using a large ERP reporting system ideally SAP.
