Commercial contract manager

The role is essential in managing the commercial mix for optimised outcomes related to services, contracts, suppliers, spend and customers/stakeholders. The intention is that the best possible value, effective supplier and contract performance, risk mitigation and enhanced customer experience can be realised.
Your primary purpose is contract management across a diverse expense and revenue-based portfolio. Additionally you will be:
- Building strong supplier relationships to attain better value
- Establish and maintain compliance to governance frameworks and policy
- Uncover new value opportunities and partner with key business units
- Monitoring standard terms and conditions for commercial relationships
- Provide advice and assistance to other managers to support their operational competence in a commercial environment
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate proven experience of implementing new contracts in a business, including contract management and administration in combination with excellent communication skills. A valid National Rail Industry Worker Card or a Rail Safety Worker card is critical.
