Commercial contract manager

The role is essential in managing the commercial mix for optimised outcomes related to services, contracts, suppliers, spend and customers/stakeholders. The intention is that the best possible value, effective supplier and contract performance, risk mitigation and enhanced customer experience can be realised.

The Role

Your primary purpose is contract management across a diverse expense and revenue-based portfolio. Additionally you will be:
  • Building strong supplier relationships to attain better value
  • Establish and maintain compliance to governance frameworks and policy
  • Uncover new value opportunities and partner with key business units
  • Monitoring standard terms and conditions for commercial relationships
  • Provide advice and assistance to other managers to support their operational competence in a commercial environment
What we are looking for

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate proven experience of implementing new contracts in a business, including contract management and administration in combination with excellent communication skills. A valid National Rail Industry Worker Card or a Rail Safety Worker card is critical.
