SRW is experiencing a period of once in-a-generation transformation, with the modernisation of major infrastructure and services, upgrading irrigation districts and preparing them for a more climate-resilient future. The transformation does not stop in the field: new IT projects, customer interfaces, business systems and people and culture processes are helping SRW to develop a future-ready organisation.
Working closely with the Manager People & Culture, you will drive a strong safety culture across the organisation through a proactive and engaging approach. You will work with leaders from across the business to grow their capability levels and provide education around safety which will see you become a trusted adviser that supports them to be successful. Being an expert in your field, you are able to work at both a strategic and operational level and ensure risks to the organisation are reduced and mitigated against through your work. From your diverse experience across multiple sectors, you are able to bring a fresh perspective and will enhance the approach to safety in all areas including processes, systems and policies.
You are a well-regarded leader that has successfully driven a culture of safety across organisations that you have worked. You bring a strong technical background in safety and regulatory compliance and have been the “go-to person” for all things safety related. Being an ambitious self-starter, you thrive on achieving outcomes and enjoy working autonomously with the support of an executive leader to guide your approach. You possess an exceptional customer service ethos and enjoy working as part of a broader people and culture team.
