What will you do?
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the planning and delivery of strategic and operational procurement services.  A key focus is on customer service, governance, risk management, and delivering improved financial and value outcomes.  As an influential decision maker, you will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and provide empowering leadership to your team.  This is also a “hands on” role, and you will participate in tender processes, analyse data to identify cost saving and effectiveness opportunities and adopt a continuous improvement approach to procurement processes.

Who are you?
You are a visionary leader with proven experience and credibility leading a procurement function, ideally in a public sector or statutory authority context. You demonstrate strategic foresight and the ability to identify and articulate the value of procurement, good governance and data analytics to your internal stakeholder groups. You are an outstanding people leader with success in empowering and developing a high performing procurement team to achieve customer focused outcomes. Furthermore, you have proven credibility in your ability to build, influence and maintain collaborative relationships with key external stakeholder groups.
