Job Description

Our client is a CBD-based Global Funds Manager. Be involved and part of a Major Technology Transformation Program.
Reporting to the SharePoint Lead, the primary role for the Technical Analyst/O365 SharePoint Specialist is to engage with the relevant business units and their stakeholders to understand how we can best implement SharePoint and O365 across the business.
Key to this will be working with the business to drive out a new and relevant Information Architecture for their information assets, identifying gaps in their processes and opportunities for improvements and automation.
You will be involved with analysing and implementing custom SharePoint solutions using the most suitable method, producing supporting documentation for SharePoint and O365 based solutions, ensuring quality of work developed through testing, and provide support and assistance in System and User Acceptance Testing when required.
Your role may also involve capturing requirements and creating mock-ups where required.
For this role you need to have the following skills and experience:
  • Degree in Information Technology (or similar) or recognised qualifications in Information
  • Technology is mandatory.
  • 5 or more years in IT roles, specifically in SharePoint/O365 and Applications Development
  • Extensive experience utilising SharePoint on-premise / SharePoint Online/O365 to deliver solutions with an advanced knowledge of available SharePoint APIs, with a strong preference to automating tasks
  • Experience migrating data to and from SharePoint (online/on-premises)
  • Experience enabling O365
  • Extensive experience in delivering technology using the Agile approach and within project governance and project frameworks.
  • High level of skills and experience in the analysis of IT requirements and the design and deployment, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of IT systems.
  • Ability to set goals and achieve them in a timely, cost effective way
  • Ability to solve problems in a creative, timely, commercial manner
  • Ability to respond quickly to change in a positive manner
