Reporting to the CEO and leading a highly skilled workforce, you will create an environment for high performance and harness an engaged workplace culture. With a focus on delivering our major infrastructure works including the Queen Victoria Market redevelopment, the role will require outstanding stewardship of the city’s significant capital works investment.  You will ensure the diverse workforce is empowered to deliver on the significant program of work whilst minimising disruption to the City. You will be responsible for leading and directing the development and delivery of strategic programs, projects and initiatives to contribute to improving Melbourne’s liveability.
 
A proven, results oriented, leader, you bring experience at the executive level in large complex service delivery organisations and have an understanding of regulatory environments. You have led diverse teams across all aspects of the development and delivery of a range of projects and have a thorough understanding of procurement, financial management, contracts and the relationship between planning, construction, operations and asset management. You have brought and encouraged innovative thinking into organisations and your teams to enhance services and deliver services at the highest level.
