About the Role
As the Payroll & Accounts Officer you will be responsible for processing a weekly payroll of 150+ employees, located in both the head office and site locations.
This is a full function payroll position and includes the set-up of new starters, processing terminations and managing leave records, right through to doing the pay run. You will prepare, balance and reconcile payroll tax, PAYG and superannuation and comply with all relevant legislation.
With payroll taking up 2 to 3 days per week, your remaining days will be taken up assisting the AP & AR teams.
You must have previously done full function payroll position and have a general understanding of accounts and a good understanding of MS Excel. We are looking for a candidate that is comfortable doing some manual processing whilst a system upgrade is planned.
