This local council is one of the fastest growing council in Australia. They are well known for their significant development areas, currently serving a population just above 80,000 people this is expected to triple in the next 15 years. Your role will primarily focus on developing a building and facilities design manual to guide the development of councils building, amenity and open space facilities. Additional responsibilities include:
- Prepare drawings, specifications, room data estimates and cost estimates.
- Prepare reports and documentation appropriately to inform the design manual and contribution plan rates.
- Project specific brief development of a council critical open space development.
- Manage a consultant in delivering drawings, specification and cost estimates.
To be successful in this role you will need to show proven experience in or to an Australian local government agency in a architectural or designer role developing design manuals.
