E-focus is a community based, profit-for-purpose organisation with a mission to support disadvantaged people obtain and retain employment. For over 40 years it has done this by providing training, employment-related assistance (including personal support and referral) and a range of community based activities. With programs located across 12 sites in North Eastern Metropolitan Melbourne and regional areas, E-focus is well positioned to provide support to local communities in a range of areas including Disability Employment Services (DES), an Apprenticeships Network Provider and as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). It has also delivers community programs including our Hub and other outreach work.
As the CEO of E-focus, and reporting to the E-focus board, you will be charged with providing inspirational and empowering leadership to lead the development and delivery of the 2020 - 2025 strategic plan, ensuring it is embraced by all. You will identify opportunities for strategic growth to meet the needs of the community as well as ensuring the organisation’s long term financial stability.  Furthermore, as the CEO you will be the public face of E-focus and develop strong stakeholder relationships with key partners including local government, state government, peak bodies, industry, consortium partners and community.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, the E-focus Board are seeking a strategic executive leader that can support a Board that has an appetite for strategic growth. You will have the ability to foster a commercially focused and value driven culture that is loyal and looking to be taken to the next step.  As the CEO you will have proven capabilities in business management and be adaptable, energetic and innovative.  You will have highly developed stakeholder engagement skills and the ability build relationships across public, not for profit and private sectors. Having knowledge in this sector will be desirable although not essential and you will have previous experience as a CEO or executive.
