Our client is a high profile organisation based in the CBD, delivering a diverse range of services across the state of Victoria. With a workforce of around 1,100 full time staff, they are renowned for providing highly valued environmental services to the community and are striving to further enhance their performance through exploring opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation. Currently undergoing this strategic change, the business is seeking a proven Executive Manager to lead the development of the corporate plan/s and business performance reporting.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is integral to facilitating the implementation of the corporate strategy as the organisation strives to develop an adaptable and progressive workforce. Key to your success will be your ability to integrate the strategy across the organisation as a customer centered team which is enabling and assisting organisational outcomes. You will manage program performance monitoring and formal reporting against the organisation’s business plan and strategy and will ensure organisation engagement with the strategy. You will lead the identification of current and future business issues and opportunities and using a wide range of knowledge of all areas of the organisations operations, develop strategic reporting and provide advice to support the necessary actions for appropriate performance improvement. Importantly, you will lead annual business planning and on-going performance reporting processes and provide accurate and timely reporting to the executive, Board and Government Departments.

To succeed in this role, you will have a track record of enhancing the workforce engagement of an organisation and possess a customer first attitude – excellent communication skills are essential. Your successful influencing and negotiation skills coupled with your analytical problem-solving mind will be required to see you identify issues, develop solutions and provide authoritive advice across the organisation. Additionally, your experience developing strong and collaborative working relationships; proven ability to enhance the capability of your team and confidence to hit the ground running will aid in your success in this role.
