Reporting to the Executive Director Corporate Services, the Director, Finance and Procurement will provide strategic leadership for GOTAFE’s financial governance and procurement activities. The Director will oversee the delivery of compliant and efficient strategies, systems, processes and reporting mechanisms of GOTAFE’s financial management, organisational budget, financial compliance and procurement management. In addition the Director will lead the design, development and implementation of various frameworks to support the effective delivery of finance services as well as develop effective networks with senior government levels, advisory committees and other relevant agencies.
To be considered for this opportunity, GOTAFE are seeking an engaging and innovative leader with demonstrated experience leading a client focused finance and procurement team. You will have proven capability in establishing a high performing culture that is collaborative and solutions orientated and enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally. Furthermore you will have extensive knowledge of financial management practices and hold a CPA, CA or equivalent. Detailed understanding of procurement rules and processes related to the Victorian Public Sector will also be highly regarded.
