The role
Reporting to the Executive Director Education, the Director Technology and Built Environment is accountable for developing contemporary strategies and designing tailored programs to  support the specific needs of local industries, communities and individual students and in turn concrete GOTAFE’s position as a leader in the provision of quality best practice vocational education and training solutions. Furthermore, the Director will lead, motivate and empower a multidisciplinary team while enhancing team collaboration across the broader organisation.

To be considered for this opportunity, GOTAFE are seeking a passionate, innovative and entrepreneurial leader with demonstrated industry experience (VET or Higher Education ideally coupled with a background in Art, Business, Technology or one of the other portfolio areas outlined in the PD) and a passion for making a difference to a student’s learning journey. Experience partnering with various stakeholders and developing contemporary, tailored programs underpinned by supportive technologies will be expected as well as demonstrated success empowering a culture of customer / student centricity and continuous improvement. Furthermore, GOTAFE are seeking someone with strong community values and a passion for life-long learning in regional communities.
