The role
Reporting to the Executive Director People and Innovation, the Director People and Culture will play a key role in leading and implementing innovative strategies and initiatives to support GOTAFE in its delivery of quality educational programs and services.
Leading, inspiring and motivating a multidisciplinary team that includes WHS, payroll, OD and IR, the Director will develop a strong business partnering approach and design human resources solutions that are responsive and innovative in a changing environment. As a trusted advisor, the Director will work closely with the Executive to contribute to long term strategic direction of GOTAFE and develop and implement the workforce strategy.
To be considered for this opportunity, GOTAFE are seeking an engaging and innovative leader with demonstrated experience leading and developing a HR function.  Driving cultural change and building capability will be essential to the success of this role, as will excellent influencing skills, a strategic focus and the ability to engage a range of stakeholders. Additional key attributes will include the ability to provide empowering leadership, be solutions focused, consultative and work with a high level of integrity and passion to achieve the best outcomes for the organisation and students. GOTAFE are flexible with sector experience but are seeking someone with strong community values and a passion for life-long learning and regional communities.
