A well respected community focused Government department is working on an exciting new project on releasing a brand new website and intranet and they need an experienced Communications Manager to join to help in delivery!

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for preparing and producing engaging content for multiple platforms by means of writing, editing, and content creation using Content Management Systems, particularly Squiz Matrix
  • You will be working with a small team who will collaborate with you to deliver on a project that will positively promote the department
  • Provide high-level media and issues management advice
  • Leverage positive relationships to deliver high quality, engaging communications
About You
  • The ideal candidate will  have the ability to deliver a high standard consistently, you thrive on staying ahead of the game and keep things fresh with new ideas.
  • Degree qualified in Communications, PR, Education, Science or equivalent complements Demonstrated knowledge and experience in internal and external communications and marketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge to reactive and proactive media strategy
  • Proven high – level written communication skills including copyright, creative, copyrighting and digital materials
  • Proven experience in developing content for a large organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Content Management Systems (Squiz Matrix) experience
  • Good stakeholder management skills
