Bendigo TAFE delivers innovative learning solutions for individuals, industry and communities that facilitate real employment outcomes by putting the customer at the centre of everything they do. Bendigo TAFE has been transforming lives for more than 155 years.  The Institute has a rich history of providing education to local people and preparing them for work.  Through a network of five campuses, they deliver a wide variety of vocational courses to over 9,000 students every year. This is an outstanding opportunity to join the team as Business Development Manager, Industry Solutions and help industry plan and build the workforce of the future.
 
Reporting to the National Director, Industry Solutions, you will be responsible for developing and executing a national business plan to grow Bendigo TAFE’s share of education and training within a number of industry sectors.  With your consultancy based sales approach you will develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders and industry bodies. A key component of this role will be to educate your clients and organisations on this unique offering and provide expert advice and guidance whilst devising the best solutions to meet their organisational needs and improve workforce capability and productivity.
 
Ideally you will be degree qualified in marketing or a commercial discipline and have developed your consultative sales and business development background from within a business to business services environment.  You will have a proven track record of winning business and growing market share revenue. Strong commercial acumen, consultative approach to sales, strong communication skills, engaging and resilient style are essential for success in this role.    This is an outstanding opportunity to work with organisations and make a real difference to both employee and employers.
