Asset Management Officer
This local council is one of the fastest growing council in Australia. They are well known for their significant development areas, currently serving a population just above 80,000 people this is expected to triple in the next 15 years. Being part of this team will present exciting opportunities for both personal and professional development.
Your role will primarily focus on managing council assets which include roads, bridges, footpaths, drainage, buildings, recreational facilities and open spaces. Additional responsibilities include:
- Carry out inspections and asset condition assessments
- Prepare reports and works programs for maintenance and renewal
- Interpret engineering drawings to extract relevant asset information
- Report on technical investigations mainly associated with roads, drainage, buildings and open space assets
To be successful in this role you will need to show proven experience in an asset management role where you have carried out condition inspections and built maintenance programs. Desirable experience with the software program Conquest.
