Davidson Executive & Boards has partnered with Mitchell Shire Council to recruit exceptional talent for the Manager Communications, Jobs & Investment position.
In this newly created role, you will drive the strategic communications for the organisation with a particular focus on leveraging digital mediums to enhance engagement and communication flow with the community.
Working closely with the CEO and other members of the executive leadership team, you will empower the communications team to drive a new media approach across the organisation with both internal and external facing communications.
Bringing progressive thinking and a new-age approach to community engagement you will drive partnerships across the business community and enhance prosperity of the region in the short and longer term.
With a draft economic development strategy to work from, you will bring your own perspective and experience to refresh and uplift the strategy and achieve a targeted focus for the team to pursue. Given the nature of this role, it will be critical that the Manager Communications, Jobs & Investment builds effective relationships across the organisation and collaborates with other areas such as the Strategic Planning function of Council. These relationships will ensure proactive and future thinking can be aligned and the benefits and outcomes for the community can be maximised.
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring a proven track record of achieving results across the communications field and be looking to expand your experience beyond this specialisation. You bring established leadership skills and the ability to tap into the talent of your team to deliver outcomes. You have an exceptional ability to quickly build relationships with a diverse range of people and bring an innovative mindset and perspective.
