About the Company
Davidson are a preferred supplier for the government sector and have strong partnerships within local, state and federal government.  We have a number of upcoming opportunities within Queensland Government across key departments. We are looking for reliable and professional market transaction officers who are available immediately.

About the Role
There is an exciting opportunity for a technical Digital Communications Officer to join a busy and dynamic team ASAP! This role is ideally suited to candidates with long standing experience across UX and CX practices. Standard business hours – Monday to Friday.

  • High volume data management into multiple internal systems
  • Assist with the wider team and their overflow of duties
  • Experience leading strategic online and digital projects using customer-centric and human centred-design principles (with experience using customer research, UX and CX practices)
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging working environment
  • Experience using agile project methodology
  • Highly experienced online content editor with experience with content hosted on Queensland Government websites
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with queries and questions
  • Understanding and in-depth knowledge of Queensland Government web standards, policies and guidelines, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • Leading usability testing, and customer research activities i.e. card sorting, stakeholder workshops, decision tree, persona development, journey mapping etc
  • Online engagement tools, such as, Engagement HQ
  • Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertake other administrative duties as required
About You
  • Excel experience is a MUST
  • Previous experience within a digital communications role is essential
  • Experience working in a government department is desirable
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong and effective communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Understanding of media principal and best practices methodologies
