Working collaboratively with the Mayor and Councillors, you will draw upon your visionary leadership to continue to build upon a high performing organisation that considers the customer at the heart of all they do. You will engage, build and maintain trusted relationships with various stakeholder groups including the community, all levels of government and the private sector. The Council wishes to take stakeholder engagement to a new level.
Through strategic advocacy, you will progress the issues important to Stonnington. You will ensure effective governance, and that financial management is maintained including delivery of the large, annual capital works program to a high standard.
Council is seeking a dynamic leader who can combine highly developed strategic and strong communication skills and emotional intelligence. With a track record of service delivery, you will have proven experience as a CEO or executive, ideally having worked at some stage within the broader public sector. You will be renowned for your ability to foster a high performing innovative “customer first” culture and for your highly developed stakeholder engagement skills. You will bring with you trusted relationships across government, the private sector and a proven ability to build transparent relationships with your Council / Board.
