As an integral part of the new Engineering and Road Management Division, the Asset Management, Structures and Pavements teams will be a centralised point of accountability for a whole of life asset management approach to the State arterial road network. The Asset Management Structures and Pavements team will work closely with other VicRoads divisions that are responsible for the delivery of Improvement, Operating and Maintenance plans across the state.
Reporting to the Chief Engineering and Road Management Officer, the Director Asset Management Structures and Pavements leads the development and implementation of asset management strategies and also leads a group of experts who provide technical advice and support to the organisation in pavement, geotechnical and structural related matters. Leading a highly capable team across a range of functions, you will promote a culture that drives innovation and is focused on maximising value for the organisation and community.
Key to your success will be extensive experience in leading asset management function in a large organisation. You have experience developing business cases for asset maintenance investments and are well regarded from your dealings providing direction and advice to executive teams. You possess an engaging interpersonal style, the ability to build strong rapport and you are committed to enhancing relationships with the community, government and other key stakeholders.
