Our client is a global medical technologies company, based in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs with over 9,000 employees, with 11 offices in 8 countries, and working with more than 100 major companies globally.

About the Role

You will supporting all HR activites connected to the region including Talent Acquistion, performance management, employee engagement and operations such as payroll, benefits administration and employee relations. 

You will also be responsible for: 

Talent Acqusition 
  • Develop sourcing methods and channels to ensure quality applicants
  • Develop consistent selection process
  • Partner the business on staffing plans that meets strategy
Performance Management
  • Drive development/ training programs
  • Actively manage performance management issues and recommend training and/or performance imrpovement plans 
  • Incentive management and performance/ productivity monitoring 
Employee Engagement 
  • Promote culture transformation via supporting the values and behaviours 
  • Manage employee complaints and mediate to resolve employee issues
  • Establish mentoring, coaching and development program
Employee Operations
  • HR reporting requirements including headcount, vacancy rates etc
  • Ensuring all employees have applicable policies, processes and handbooks
  • Compensation planning including benchmarkting and benefits programs
  • Payroll activities as necessary

About You
  • Minimum 5 years experience in HR Management (ideally, with 3 years HR Generalist experience) 
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or other related field
  • Strong interview and behavioural assessment experience
  • Proven knowedge on current local Labor law and legal environment 
  • Knowledge on talent demographics and trends 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with people of varying levels
  • Strong problem solving skills with sound data analysis 
  • Pro-active and positive attidute
  • Pharmaceutical or Healthcare experiences is desirable
