  • Location: Inner South Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne
  • Salary package circa $125,000 + super inc car
  • 2IC to the Finance Manager
Our client is a high profile organisation based in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne with a turnover of $130 million delivering a diverse range of services to a customer base of more than 100,000. To support this ongoing evolution, a crucial role has become available for an innovative, “out of the box” thinking Finance professional.
Reporting to the Manager Finance as the 2IC, this business critical role will be responsible for ensuring the accounting services team adds value and provides valuable support to the organisation.
The Accounting Services Coordinator will be responsible for:
  • Leading the accounting services functions including financial accounting; management accounting, financial systems; accounts payable; and asset accounting ;
  • Facilitating the development of the organizational budget and long term financial plan
  • Managing the preparation of the annual financial statements and other statutory reporting requirements
  • Ensuring that financial systems capability is fully developed and utilised;
  • Leading and motivating a high functioning team.
To be considered for this enviable role, you will be an experienced and dynamic leader who is CPA or CA qualified with strong systems and technical accounting skills. Your experience will come from within a statutory authority or the health, education or public sector and you have proven experience identifying and implementing “out of the box” improvement opportunities for a finance function. Furthermore, you demonstrate success in (and enjoy) building credible trusted partnerships across all levels of an organisation and in empowering teams to high performance with a customer service focus.
