Reporting to the Chair and working with a progressive board from across the sector, you will play a key role in leading the organisation into the next stage of its development. This will include delivering on an ambitious strategy that sees VicWater becoming one of the leading membership based organisations in Australia. Leading a small team, as well as harnessing an engaged workforce of hundreds of individuals from across the membership base, the organisation is looking to become even more strategic and deep in its advocacy efforts, take member engagement to new heights and explore new partnerships and opportunities to further improve the water industry’s intergenerational future footprint.
With a strong focus on innovation in the member engagement space, the CEO will drive a positive culture and lead, inspire and develop collaborative, cross sector working groups and teams to achieve the ambitious strategy. The CEO will have a strong business acumen and be involved in key stakeholder and partner engagement as well as advocacy efforts to benefit the membership.
You will be a highly regarded and proven leader with the ability to influence, advocate and build strong stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally. As a strong communicator with an approachable style, you have extensive leadership experience within an organisation with a strong customer focus and have had exposure reporting to a Board. Innovative, strategic and working with a collective mindset will be key strengths you bring to this outcome focused role and are excited by this opportunity which will advance your career.
