Reporting to the Director Infrastructure, the Manager Engineering will provide leadership and guidance to technical teams across the Engineering department, including infrastructure and design services, drainage, traffic and parking management, transport planning, and development advice and asset protection. Within a dynamic and results focused operating environment, you will lead a collaborative and high performance culture to support and drive efficiencies. Bringing a focus on continuous improvement, you will develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders and empower your team to provide high levels of customer service
This role will suit a strategic and outcomes focused infrastructure leader who has previous experience providing efficient and effective leadership of a technical engineering team. Your ability to engage key stakeholders and provide exceptional leadership, motivation and empowerment to your team will be critical to your success. Further, you bring proven technical problem solving skills and political savvy. You will demonstrate extensive experience in strategy development, planning and management of service delivery in the areas of transport and infrastructure in a community or Local Government organisation. You will be a leader who has the business nous to develop high performing customer focused teams, build organisational collaboration and deliver excellence in service delivery.
