WorkSafe Victoria is dedicated to supporting all Victorians to be healthy and safe at work and to recover from any workplace injury or illness as quickly as possible. As the manager of Victoria’s workers compensation scheme, the organisation plays a critical role in the lives of all Victorian employers and workers. Led by an ambitious executive team, the organisation is working towards WorkSafe 2030, a long term strategy aiming to ensure that the organisation provides an inclusive, empathetic and tailored service for every Victorian who comes into contact with us and embeds a proactive, prevention- led approach to health and safety in every workplace.

Engaging and partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally, you will support the delivery of the WorkSafe 2030 strategy by leading an integrated social marketing and communications strategy, managing external creative agencies and providing confidence of sound governance to the executive and Board.
A strategic leader, you will have a foundation in communications and marketing and have demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic outcomes. With a strong understanding of the public sector, you will appreciate good governance practices and bring strengths in stakeholder engagement in complex, issues rich environments. Importantly you will be a passionate, visible and collaborative leader who develops your team and the broader executive. Your conceptual and analytical skills, ability to navigate complex environments and exceptional verbal and written communication are second to none and will ensure your success in this exciting transformational role.
