Job Description

Metro is important to the lives of millions of people.  Their employees connect and interact with passengers from diverse corners of the community on a daily basis and have an impact on more than 400,000 lives every day.

The Signaller is required to safely operate network signalling and communication systems within the metropolitan network, in accordance with the Rules and Operating Procedures, to meet timetable performance.

Reporting directly into the Delivery Manager, you will ensure safe movement of all rail traffic is implemented without exception, as well as ensure Safe working systems are correctly implemented to protect workers in the rail corridor.

With your background, you would have positively contributed to any timetable/work planning activities required to ensure all activities are performed as efficiently as possible. A rail signalling background is preferable, however industries such as well as aviation are of particular interest. We would welcome applications by Air Traffic Controllers.

Metro Trains Melbourne mission is to deliver exceptional passenger service. Delivering reliable, safe and clean services with accurate and time information, accessible for all passenger. The Signaller is a crucial part of this mission as Metro continue on their journey.
