With a focus on a fair and just society, the Department of Justice and Attorney-General provides a variety of services across the community of Queensland. As part of their ongoing commitment to enhancing the services offered by the Department throughout the State, they are looking to appoint an Executive Director, Information Technology Services.

Working within the Corporate Services division, the Executive Director is a key player in the improvement of ICT services and delivery across the State. With a strong focus on building relationships inside the Department, and looking to partner with external providers, this role will foster a culture of leadership, performance and accountability servicing all stakeholders.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have demonstrated effective leadership in an innovative and client focussed organisation, with experience in highly streamlined business information systems in a diverse and complex environment. You will be comfortable operating at senior levels of government and have successfully developed and managed key stakeholder relationships across both the business sector and community. You will possess superior business acumen, with negotiation and influencing skills. Competitive candidates will be able to display the ability to maximize digital technologies through business improvement initiatives and will be able to inspire and lead a collaborative team.

A degree in Information Technology, Commerce, Economics or Business will be highly regarded.
