A highly sought after State Government Department is seeking a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer. Located on the northside, the role will report directly to the Nursing Director Clinical Governance. About the Role
This permanent, full time role works directly with the Clinical Governance, Safety, Quality & Risk Team. As a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer you will be responsible for providing authoritative advice and assistance to the executive, senior management and staff in relation to Governance, Risk and Compliance systems and practices, to ensure best practice models are implemented to achieve objectives and service improvements. Duties will include:
- Establishing a governance, risk and compliance framework
- Developing an assurance framework
- Developing effective education and training strategies
- Conducting and managing risk workshops
- Working with senior executives to understand, identify and plan projects aimed at improving governance practices
You will be values driven and patient focused. You will pride yourself and your team on delivering the best service possible to patients. You will have demonstrable experience in Risk Management and Compliance in a health environment. Ideally you will have a relevant qualification.
