About the Role
The Cloud Engineer (Cloud & Systems) will be a strong communicator who is able to consistently delivers quality results and has a passion for customer service. The customer is the sole focus of everthing this successful orgnaisation provides; so the ability to demonstrate this with strong technical skills will be vital.
Key Requirments for the role will involve:
Taking ownership of the cloud infrastructure including instance creation, maintenance and upgrades, system monitoring and performance and overall cloud support
Taking responsibility for the maintenance and tracking of Panviva’s infrastructure needs
Ensuring infrastructure risks are mitigated and concerns are documented and communicated to management
Leadership and influencing of the teams who are responsible for technical support and maintenance of the customer, the technical infrastructure for the business as well as the automation of processes
Establishing and maintaining a profile within the business as the voice for the customer and ensuring their technical needs are promoted and advocated
Resolving key issues around internal infrastructure
Manage and advise key personnel around Risks / Threats
Help drive priorities around automation and great streamlined efficiency
Strong in deployment of Applications within an Azure environment
Solid experience around Systems Administration in Windows and Linux
Experience working with Azure Load Balancer, Virtual Networks, Express route, Azure Recovery Service Vaults.
Proven strength in PowerShell Scripting and automation tools
An excellent communicator with knowledge / exposrue to a DevOps environment with experience in confifguration tools such as Puppet
