Reporting to the Director Development and Planning and working closely within a dynamic and inclusive leadership team, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of the organisation by developing a fit for purpose Project Management Office (PMO) with uniformed project methodologies and frameworks. Leading a team of Project Managers, you will leverage resources from across the organisation in facilitating the efficient and effective development of business cases, project scoping, financing, project planning and then empowering other colleagues to lead the delivery.

To be considered for this enviable opportunity, the City of Ballarat are seeking a strategic leader who has experience steering a broad range of projects within complex environments. You will have proven experience leading, facilitating and driving change management to deliver fit for purpose PMOs in mid-sized organisations and in providing relevant training and empowerment to teams in the organisation to ensure success. Importantly, your excellent management, collaboration, communication and facilitation skills will enable you to deliver organisation wide projects with a true business partnering approach.
