To support planned operation growth, an opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Finance Professional to join the team, in a role that will see them working in partnership with Executive Leaders across the business to achieve long-term sustainable growth.
About the Role
This role will be influential in managing the global consolidation process and providing exceptional leadership to the direct reports within your team. Working closely with the Groups’ CFO and also the GM of Operations, you will be charged with the development and implementation of commercial strategies and initiatives through the following responsibilities.
- Management of the global consolidation of reporting across a complex financial environment
- Provide direction and support for the finance directors in each of the regions
- Ensure complete financial control over foreign exchange management and identify key financial risks for the organisation
- Understand and work through technical issues including transfer pricing, working capital arrangements and foreign exchange.
- Identify opportunities for growth in the emerging markets alongside the Operations Director.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience at the Management or Controller level in a large complex organisation operating across a number domestic and international markets. You will have extensive experience in managing group consolidations, and you will have experience in risk mitigation and FX management. You will have a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience post CA/CPA qualification and demonstrated strong leadership experience. It is essential that you are a natural influencer with the ability to engage as a true business partner along with the capacity to travel at short notice when required. WE are ideally looking for someone who comes from an organisation operating within the Travel industry, however demonstrated experience of being influential in the growth of a business in a related industry in new markets will be highly regarded.
