The Company
An industry leading utility provider which owns a network of assets servicing more than 1 million homes and businesses in Victoria.

About the Role
The Principal Civil/Structural Engineer will play a key role in the smart design of whole life solutions for the augmentation of the network and associated assets.  They will work on a broad range of projects including; 
  • Structural forensic investigation of aging assets 
  • Structural design of substations and other pavillions
  • Civil design for solar projects; overland flow, site grading and foundation optimisation
  • Final approval of design
The Principal will mentor and direct a team of divers skill sets including; 
  • Drafters
  • Project Engineers
  • Estimators
  • Customer Connection Engineers
  • Civil Engineers

About You
The successful applicant will have;
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • A proven track record in civil and structural design 
  • Strong ability in design softwares such as SPACE GASS, Plexas, Civil 3D, etc
  • The ability and desire to mentor an established team of more junior engineering staff
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
