Director Safe System Road Infrastructure Program
We are seeking applications for a Director Safe System Road Infrastructure Program (SSRIP) to join the newly formed leadership team reporting to the Chief Regional Roads Officer.
The Director SSRIP is responsible for the delivery and execution of a substantial road safety infrastructure program of works across metropolitan and regional Victoria. In this role you will confidently lead, engage and harness the talent of a geographically dispersed workforce that is trusted to understand and advocate for our regional customers to deliver high quality & safe transport options for them. You will engage with leaders across VicRoads to drive and implement a “safe-system” approach to road safety across the network which is focused on delivering community outcomes, minimising whole-of-life costs, delivers innovation outcomes and is flexible and responsive to emerging issues to future challenges
To be considered for this role, you bring proven experience leading project delivery teams and the ability to enhance culture, performance and collaboration to deliver improved benefit to the Victorian community. You bring significant expertise in all aspects of the design, development and delivery of a range of projects and have a thorough understanding of procurement, financial management, contracts and the relationship between planning, design, construction and operations of long life assets.
You possess an engaging interpersonal style, the ability to build strong rapport and a commitment to enhancing relationships with the Victorian community, local government, TAC and other government departments including TfV.
