They are well known for their significant development areas, currently serving a population just above 80,000 people this is expected to triple in the next 15 years. Your role will primarily focus on In-house Landscape Design services required to deliver major projects in the LGA and to provide assistance with design and new projects. This includes walking trails, historic sites, playgrounds and the town centre. Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide advice in relation to proposed developments and subdivisions, re-zoning local and environmental studies and proposals as required
- Carry out investigations and to prepare designs including construction plans, specifications, quantities and estimates for landscape and streetscape works.
- Develop master plans, policies and palettes for streetscapes, parks, roundabouts, medians and other elements in the public domain
To be successful in this role you will need to show proven experience in or to a NSW local government agency in a similar role, with experience in landscape projects in the construction phase.
