Job Description

Our revolutionary global client is recognised for its innovation, insight and expertise in the Biopharmaceutical industry by utilising science to create the medicines of the future.
As the business continues to evolve and grow, they are currently searching for a number of passionate, self-motivated and tenacious Business Development professionals as part of the expansion of the Capital Access team
The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying potential new investors, developing and maintaining the relationships. In addition, you will be responsible for creating strategies to generate investor interest and build long term relationships within this community.

To be considered for this role, you must be able to: 
  • Develop, drive and achieve sales objectives
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors
  • Manage the sales process from inception to completion and ensure adequate record keeping
  • Maintain an awareness and interest  in current events within the finance and biotech industries;
  • Actively raise the profile and brand of the business by cold cabling, networking and attendance at industry events
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials that are responsive to the market and client needs
  • Travel to locations as required and when required to conduct business on behalf of the group
Highly Desirable:

Ideally you have sales experience within the financial services industry. Alternatively, experience working within the financial services industry within stockbroking or funds management with an existing network of investors, capital raising partners or relevant contacts, and the ability to demonstrate the following: 
  • Strong sales and relationship management skills, with a record of executing successfully against long-term business plans and goals;
  • Ability to network, cold call and build relationships easily
  • Sales-driven relationship development and management
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills
  • An ability to build rapport with high net worth individual
  • Previous fundraising experience ideally in private equity fundraising (preferred);
  • RG146 Qualification (preferred)
