This newly created role will lead transport projects and traffic operations within the city, and have responsibility for delivering on an ambitious transport strategy.  Providing expert technical advice, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of traffic engineering services to meet the future needs of Glen Eira City Council and the community.  Leading a small team of subject matter experts, your values driven approach to people leadership will empower the team to deliver on the Council and Community Plan objectives, and create a high performance culture.  Your excellent communication and customer service skills will enable you to build relationships with your peers and a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative approach to achieving traffic and transport outcomes.  Your skills in advocacy and influencing will contribute positively to the future traffic and transport needs of the community.
We are seeking a proven and experienced transport leader who is values driven and can lead a team to deliver customer centric services to the community.  Your depth of knowledge and experience in transport and traffic will ensure you provide timely and accurate advice.  To succeed in the role, you will be customer focused, results oriented, have an innovative approach and seek out opportunities to continuously improve systems and processes.
