Working closely with the Mayor and Councillors, your visionary leadership will deliver on a bold and diverse range of organisational priorities and projects that will make a positive impact to the city, community and region. As a passionate advocate for Council, your political savviness will build and leverage a diverse range of stakeholders and partnerships which will raise the profile of Warrnambool and the region, contributing a prosperous economy. With your natural collaborative style, and ability to build relationships, you will quickly immerse yourself in the organisation and the community, and be recognised as an ambassador for Council. As a proven strategic leader, you will ensure the organisation demonstrates good governance, integrity, strong financial management and you will seek to empower and develop a committed workforce.
As a values based leader with executive level government experience, you are able to balance delivery of ambitious organisational outcomes with a positive and productive culture. With your innovative mindset and sound approach to strategic thinking you are quick to identify opportunities that will contribute to the success of the organisation and the community. Having a strength in building trusted and transparent collaborative relationships across the organisation and with stakeholders, you will actively seek to broaden the networks of Council. As a people leader, you have demonstrated success in empowering organisations to be high performing and meet the needs of community.
