ServiceNow Solution Designer – Risk & Compliance (GRC)
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Designer with strong expertise across the GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) suite. This role sits within a major financial-sector transformation program, focusing on designing and configuring out-of-the-box ServiceNow GRC solutions in a highly regulated environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-senior specialist who thrives in design, configuration, and end-to-end solution delivery across enterprise Risk & Compliance functions.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical designs, configuring ServiceNow GRC modules, and supporting testing and solution validation. Working closely with architects, BAs, and business stakeholders, ensure accurate, scalable, and compliant GRC solutions are delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Design functional & technical specifications for ServiceNow Risk & Compliance modules.
- Configure GRC applications (Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management).
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into solution designs.
- Support testing, validation, and defect resolution.
- Document workflows, data models, and integration points.
- Ensure all designs align with best practices and governance standards.
Must-Have Experience
- 8+ years’ ServiceNow experience, including 4+ years in GRC-focused design/configuration.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow GRC / IRM, including:
- Policy & Compliance
- Risk Management
- Audit Management
- Issue/Process/Control Management
- Proven ability to design, configure, and deliver solutions (not just administration).
- Ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation.
Nice-to-Have
- ServiceNow CIS – Risk & Compliance certification
- ServiceNow CSA certification
- Experience in banking or financial services
- Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Interview & Start Timeline
- Very urgent – interviews can happen within 24 hours of profile submission.
- Expected start: 1st or 2nd week of January.
- Initial 7-month contract, but project runs around 18 months, making extensions highly likely.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Mid-level ServiceNow GRC designer (not a senior architect).
- Strong configuration capability with off-the-shelf GRC modules.
- Deep domain understanding—issue management, controls, risk processes.
- Able to onboard quickly and work independently.
