The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Controller to support the delivery of strategic programs and project initiatives within a growing project environment. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in project planning, scheduling, governance, reporting, procurement support, and the ongoing development of project management frameworks, tools, and controls.
The Role
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting project delivery through effective coordination, governance, and project controls activities.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS)
- Monitor project performance, actuals, trends, risks, and schedule variances
- Produce project status reports, dashboards, and performance updates
- Coordinate project meetings, actions, deliverables, and dependencies
- Support procurement activities and vendor engagement processes
- Contribute to PMO frameworks, templates, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You are a highly organised project professional with experience supporting complex projects through strong governance, scheduling, and reporting practices.
- Experience in project coordination, project controls, or PMO environments
- Strong understanding of RAID management, project governance, and reporting
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Planner, Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and project performance metrics
- Procurement experience, ideally within a government environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills
